Flora Psi Iota Xi announces scholarships

Beta Alpha Chapter of Psi Iota Xi sorority is offering three $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors and two $1,000 scholarships to adult continuing education students.

High school scholarships

To be eligible for the high school scholarships, applicants must reside in the Carroll Consolidated School Corporation or be a child of an active or honorary active member of the Beta Alpha Chapter. Applicants for the scholarships must be a 2008 graduate of Carroll Junior Senior High School or other accredited high school.

Applications are available now in the CJSHS guidance office. Applications must be completed and returned by March 15 to the Guidance Office. Recipients will be announced in May.

Continuing ed. scholarships

Applicants for the adult continuing education scholarship must be a full-time or a parttime student enrolled in an institution of higher learning and must meet at least one of the following criteria: 1) current member of Beta Alpha Chapter; 2) child or spouse of a Beta Alpha member; or 3) legal resident within the Carroll Consolidated School Corporation.

Application deadline is June 1.

Applications are available in the CHS guidance office or by contacting Deanna Herr at 574- 859-9877. Recipients will be selected and announced in June.
