We are often asked how people can help the library. In response to this we are developing a wish list. People are welcome to donate magazine subscriptions, donate money for our reading fund, join the Friends group and more. If you are interested in helping, contact the director, Melissa Bishop, by calling 967-3912, or email floralib@flora.lib.in.us.

Basic tax forms for 2007 are now available in the technology center in the library. The government is limiting the variety and amounts of forms due to many people filing electronically. All forms and schedules can be accessed from the government websites.

These sites include downloadable forms, instructions and publications. Advanced search is available to find the specific form needed when itemizing. The library's main index page on our website www.flora.lib.in.us, has direct links to the Internal Revenue Service and the Indiana Department of Revenue. The technology center also offers free Internet access to patrons on a first come, first served basis.

The next storytime will celebrate "President's Day." Let's learn about George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and other great leaders of the United States. Storytime is Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.

Call in to the library's Diala Story to hear "George Washington and the Cherry Tree." The story beginning Friday will be "George Washington and the Colt." Dial-a- Story is available 24 hours a day by calling 967-3814.
