Burlington Kiwanis Club meets every Saturday morning at 7:30 at the fire station for breakfast and meeting. The Burlington Area Community Center has a van available to take residents to town to shop, go to the doctor, etc. Those who use the service are asked to make a donation to cover gas and the cost of the driver. Drivers for the Burlington area community van are needed. Anyone interested should call 566-2674. The United Methodist Cluster Lenten Breakfast will be held this Sunday at Forest, starting at 8 a.m. A ski trip for youth of Crossroads Community Christian Church is being planned for Feb. 24. A dedication of facilities will be held Sunday at the First Brethren Church. An organizational meeting for high school students to sing in the choir for Easter morning will be held Sunday at 5 p.m. at Faith Church of Christ. Faith Church of Christ Sunday night program for all ages features: adults with Rick Helvie, leader; Adventure Club for 1st through 5th grades, with Julie Eurit, leader; and ages 3 to kindergarten, a movie; and youth group. |
