Hathaway 60th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Orville K Hathaway of Delphi will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at a family dinner at The Trails on Sunday.

Hathaway and the former Frances Grassmyer were married on Feb. 8, 1948, by the Rev. Clarence Medaris (former Radnor United Methodist Church pastor) at his home in Bloomington.

They both retired in 1991. He retired from IUOE Local 103 in Kokomo and she retired from Carroll County Abstract Company.

The couple has seven children, Kenneth Hathaway (wife: Connie) of Lafayette, Elaine Latia (husband: Doug) of San Antonio, Texas, Tara Garrison (husband: Wayne) of Monticello, Jenni Best of Oskaloosa, Kansas, Carole Thomsen (husband: Eric) of Delphi, Gail Marshall (husband: Jeff) of Elkhart, and Kevin Hathaway (wife: Lori) of Delphi. They also have 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
