Mary Eileen Ritchie, 87, a Dayton area resident, died Feb. 2, 2008, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born Nov. 21, 1920, in Lafayette. On April 17, 1938, she married F. Merle Ritchie in Lafayette, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Ritchie worked in sales at Bowers Cards for several years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi. Survivors include a daughter, Keltie Knoth (husband: Jim) of rural Delphi. Visitation will be today, Wednesday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, with a funeral Mass there at 10 a.m. Feb. 7. Burial will be at Dayton Cemetery.
