SELVEY HEATING AND COOLING, Rossville, is one of three national finalists for the Air Conditioning Contractors of America's (ACCA) 2008 Award for Excellence. The Rossville firm is a finalist in the Excellence in Residential Contracting category. Winners in each category will be announced at the ACCA Conference to be held Feb. 5-7 in Colorado Springs.

SAM MOFFITT of Flora was elected one of three new directors of the Indiana Pork Board at the 2008 Indiana Pork Annual Meeting, held at the Hendricks County Conference Center in Danville last week. Indiana Pork hosts this annual meeting for all pork producers in the state. The meeting gives producers the opportunity to come together and share ideas and strategies for business success in the industry. A major topic at this year's meeting was the challenging business environment that many producers are facing due to rising feed costs and declining hog prices.
