Carl R. Abbott, life resident of the Delphi area of Carroll County, filed to run for re-election to the at-large county council seat as a Republican.

"I will continue to work hard for all of Carroll County, its employees, department heads and elected officials to maintain the county with proactive thinking for the betterment of all who call Carroll County home," he said. "It has been my pleasure to serve you, and I look forward to the opportunity to continue my at-large position. Your support in the upcoming primary would be greatly appreciated."
