Food drive, flood donations

Food items for the Carroll County Food Pantry and monetary donations for flood victims will be collected Friday night at Carroll's homecoming game with Delphi.

The non-perishable food items will be given to the food pantry locations in Flora and Delphi.

Carroll County Emergency Management Director Dave McDowell will receive the monetary donations at the game. He will turn the money over to a special account that has been set up for flood victims at the Delphi United Methodist Church.

At Carroll, donations are also being collected at the other athletic contests this week. Donations of food and money also will be accepted throughout the week at First Financial Bank in Flora.
