Delphi boys' swim team captures two more wins

The DCHS boys' swim team ran their season record to 13-2 after defeating Logansport 102- 84 and Lewis Cass 95-90.

Against Logansport, Andrew Burton was a quadruple winner, Kyle Price, Andy Flora and Matt Keen were triple winners, Jared Kelley and Jeremy Sterrett won twice and Alex Price picked up a single win.

The Logansport score was close and went back and forth until the 500 free as the boys won the last 5 events. A one-two finish in the 100 breast stroke by Andy Flora and Clint McLeland put the meet out of reach,

At Lewis Cass, Burton was again a quadruped winner, Kyle Price and Sterrett were triple winners while Kelley had two firsts and Andy Flora had one. In this close meet the boys needed to win the 400 free relay for the victory. Brent Kremer's second place in the 500 free was a key factor.

Delphi's girls' team finished at 7 and 11 after dropping meets to Logansport and Lewis Cass. The girls will compete at the Lafayette swim sectionals Thursday.
