Ronald M. Unger

Private family services for Ronald M. Unger, 70, of rural Frankfort, were held Jan. 24. Burial followed in Middlefork Cemetery, Clinton County.

He died Jan. 22, 2008, at Lafayette Home Hospital.

Born May 2, 1937, in Clinton County, he was the son of Ralph and Catherine Whiteman Unger. He was married in 1957 to Martha Spraker, who preceded him in death. Last June he married Brenda Ragen Cook, who survives.

Also surviving are six children, Mark Unger, Tim Unger, Kent Unger, Jason Unger, Sarah Watson and Eli Unger; three stepchildren, Charles Cook, Kelley Cook and Adam Cook; three sisters; 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
