90th Birthday
Alice Harrell was honored by family and friends for her 90th birthday at the Burlington Community Center on Dec. 23.

Her three sons and wives, eight grandchil- dren, and 14 great-grandc hildren gathered for a catered meal. Her sons are Tom Harrell (wife: Dorothy) of Kokomo, John Harrell (wife: Susan) and Fred Harrell (wife Angie), both of Burlington.

Born Dec. 11, 1917, Mrs. Harrell has lived all her life in the Burlington area.

She was married to James Harrell, who passed away in 1986. They had several good years of retirement in Sun City, Ariz., prior to his death.

At the birthday celebration, over 140 friends stopped to visit and enjoy cake, ice cream and punch. Photographs were taken of each visitor and family, so many memories will be documented for years to come.
