Pluth, Calhoun wed

Sara Pluth and Mark Calhoun were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Nov. 10 at St. Mary's Parish in Park Forest, Ill.

Deacon John Drechney officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Lucy Pluth of Richton Park, Ill. Parents of the groom are Bill and Pat Calhoun of Flora.

Matron of honor was Julie Adams of Boston, Mass. Bridesmaids were Michelle Corsetti of Frankfort, Ill., Lori Gruber of Park Ridge, Ill., and Bre Cherry of Mokena, Ill.

Flower girls were Maddie Gruber of Park Ridge, Sabrina Corsetti of Frankfort, Ill., and Shae Luer of Manitowoc, Wis.

Jason Calhoun of Bringhurst, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Pluth of Mokena, Ill., and David Pluth of Richton Park, Ill., brothers of the bride, and Robert McGriff of North Vernon.

Ushers were Dino Corsetti of Manhattan, Ill., and Fabio Biasella of Joliet, Ill.

A reception was held at Di- Nolfo's in Mokena.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Marian Catholic High School. She received a B.S. degree in chemistry in 1998 and a master's degree in chemistry and secondary education in 2003, both from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She is a high school chemistry teacher.

The groom is a 1988 graduate of Carroll High School. He graduated from Purdue University in 1992 with a B.S. degree in natural resources and environmental science. He received an MBA from Indiana State University in 2000. He is a supply chain manager for Kraft Foods and has been a member of the Indiana National Guard since 1991.
