2007 property tax assessment notifications mailed

Carroll County Assessor Doris McLeland announced form 11s, notification of 2007 assessments, are being sent out this week. The forms will inform property owners what property tax will be owed in 2008. McLeland emphasized the assessments do not address 2008 flood-damaged properties. The assessments mailed this week are for 2007, pay in 2008.

McLeland said flood-damaged assessments will be reflected for the 2008, pay 2009, property tax cycle.
