Preparing to lead
Outstanding students from both Carroll County high schools recently attended the 31st Annual Richard G. Lugar Symposium for Tomorrow's Leaders at the University of Indianapolis. Before the symposium began, university president Dr. Beverly Pitts announced the formation of the Richard G. Lugar Center for Tomorrow's Leaders. The new center will serve as a permanent home for the symposium, provide extended experiences for high school and college students and reinforce the value of a liberal arts education in preparing young people to be tomorrow's leaders.
