FSA is receiving emergency loan applications

The Farm Service Agency (FSA) is accepting applications for emergency loans through Aug. 27 for Carroll, Cass, Clinton and Pulaski counties.

As a result of drought conditions from June 5, 2007, through Nov. 7, 207, any farmer in any of these counties who suffered losses may apply for FSA assistance.

FSA will consider each loan application on its own merit taking into account the extent of loss, security available, repayment ability, and other eligibility requirements.
