Plans underway to organize county ag association

An organizational meeting to develop a Carroll County Agriculture Association is being planned for people who are involved in agriculture and agribusiness. The organization's purpose will be education, agriculture promotion and awareness, and service to the community.

The meeting will be held Jan. 19 at 8 a.m. at the Carroll County 4-H Exhibit Building in Flora. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 9 a.m., with the meeting starting at 9.
