      It sure seems like folks who can't make up their minds get a lot of attention around election time. I'm not sure why a voter who waits until he or she is in the voting booth to decide their vote merits all that much attention.

We disagree
      Carroll County Commissioners constantly say at public meetings that they do not make spending decisions. Bill Brown said it again at the Monday morning special meeting in response to an employee's statement that employees did not make bad spending decisions but they had to now pay for them.

In poor taste
      The editorial cartoon that appeared in last week's issue was in poor taste and the Comet apologizes for running it. It is never our intention to call anyone names. We believe a better approach is to offer suggestions that can foster dialogue and solutions.
