Burlington Burlington Masonic Lodge elected officers for 2008. They are: Richard Anderson, worshipful master; Mike Adams, senior warden; Don Reef, junior warden; Brian Wright, senior deacon; Wayne Shirar, junior deacon; Adam Lucas, senior steward; Richard Langston, junior steward; Robert Paris, secretary; Martin Anderson, treasurer; Jim McMahan, chaplain; David Arnett, tyler; and Richard Smith, trustee. Kiwanis Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. Saturday for breakfast and meeting at the fire station. Town Council is meeting now on the second Tuesday night of each month at 7 in the town hall. Bible Study at the Senior Center is held every Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Faith CWF will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at the church. A youth meeting will be held at Faith Church of Christ Sunday evening from 6 to 8. Officers for 2008 at Faith Church of Christ include: Lance Alter, chairman of the board, and Keith Lindley, assistant; Bill Lovelace, chairman of deacons, and Chris Beall, assistant; Brian Wright, chairman of the board, and Lance Alter, assistant. Friday morning at 6 the First Brethren men meet for breakfast and Bible Study at The Dinner Bell. The women meet on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. for Bible Study at the Petersons. Bible Study at the Church of Christ is held every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Crossroads Community Christian Church Bible Study also meets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Crossroads youth group will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday at the home of Dan and Teresa Butcher. |
