Marketing specialists to present recommendations for county

The results of the "Strategic Directions" marketing study for Carroll County will be presented Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Wabash & Erie Canal Interpretive Center, Delphi.

Marketing specialists Dick Heupel and Bob St. Claire will present the follow-up to their marketing session held last April. They will share an assessment of the county and offer recommendations to help the county move forward.

Heupel is with the Center for Economic and Community Development at Ball State University, Muncie. St. Claire is president of the St. Claire Group, an Indianapolis consulting firm. They co-teach a marketing class at the annual economic development course held in Muncie each January.

Funding for the Strategic Directions study is being provided by Carroll County Economic Development Corporation, Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, City of Delphi, towns of Burlington, Camden and Flora, Carroll County EDIT funds, REMC Operation Round-Up, First Financial Bank, Salin Bank, Security Federal, Indiana Packers, and The Andersons.
