Jayce K. Justice, 9, of Indianapolis, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, as a result of an auto accident on SR 25 south of Delphi.

Born Jan. 20, 1999, in Logansport, he was the son of LeShawn and Rochelle Wendling Justice.

Jayce was a third grade student at North Wayne Elementary School in Indianapolis.

He loved sports, especially baseball and football, reading, and spending time with his sister.

Surviving are his mother of Indianapolis; two sisters, Nakiah Justice and Reina Wendling, both of Indianapolis; his maternal grandfather, Kelly Wendling (wife: Penny) of Florida; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Price (husband: Bud) of Tennessee; maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Cree of Logansport; and maternal grandmother, Lisa Seman of Indiana.

His father, LeShawn Justice, died in the same accident with his son on Dec. 26.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Murray-Weaver Funeral Home, 401 S. California St., Galveston. The Rev. Jeff Harlow will officiate. Burial will follow at Walton IOOF Cemetery.
