"The Ultimate Gift" will be the Advent message on Christmas Eve at Flora First Christian Church. It will conclude the church's Advent sermon series, "The Gifts We Bring."

The Christmas Eve Service will be at 9 p.m. tonight (Wednesday).

The service of traditional carols, scripture, costumed characters, and special music selections will follow the Biblical Christmas story through themes, The Gift Foretold, The Gift is Announced, The Gift Arrives, and Response to the Gift.

The drama, "Who Wrote This?" a humorous look at the retelling of the Christmas story by a famous stage director, will be presented by Janalie Robeson, Michelle Davenport, and David Kitchell.

Special music selections will be presented by Shelby Spray and Caitlin Robeson, and the Chancel Choir featuring soloist Bill Stoddard. The selections will include: "My Grown Up Christmas Wish," "Echo Carol," and "O Holy Night."

The service will conclude with open Communion and candle lighting.
