Yoder is outstanding wide receiver at Manchester College

Jared Yoder Jared Yoder Manchester College junior Jared Yoder was recently named the Spartans' Outstanding Wide Receiver, an award he has earned for three years in a row.

Yoder led his Manchester team with 51 receptions for 779 yards and 8 touchdowns. His longest reception covered 70 yards and he averaged 15.3 yards a reception and averaged 77.9 yards a game receiving. He led Spartans in all-purpose yardage with 1,338 total yards for an average of 133.8 yards a game. He was second in the conference in both receptions and receiving yards, fourth in the conference in all-purpose yards, and finished second in the conference in punt return yards a game. He was a first team all-conference selection.

For his career Yoder finishes third in school history in reception yards a season, touchdowns receptions in a career, fourth in touchdowns receptions in a season, fifth in receiving yards for a career, and is in the top ten in various other receiving records for his career.

Yoder is majoring in criminal justice. A 2005 graduate of Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School, he is the son of Laura and Eric Yoder of rural Frankfort.
