The Town of Flora shop is spruced up this holiday season with a unique Christmas tree. The electric, water, and street departments all contributed to the tree decorations. The tree topper is a hard hat, and the tree skirt is an old traffic vest. Among the adornments are tie wire, spark plug, split bolt, hose clamp, screwdriver, meter seal, traffic signs, and a marker flag. Instead of the more traditional mittens, this tree has a pair of old work gloves. At first the tree had no lights, but a Flora businessman took pity on it and provided the lights.
