Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Williams will celebrate their 71st wedding anniversary on Dec. 23.

Williams and the former Mary Dishon were married Dec. 23, 1937, at the home of the bride.

He retired from farming in 1980, and she is a homemaker. They are members of the First Brethren Church at Burlington.

Their children are Jane Kearns of Flora, Tom Williams and Jerry Williams, both of Kokomo. They have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
