Young Flora attorney Dick Bishop apparently takes his duties seriously. Arranging for sale of property belonging to an estate which the Bishop law firm administrates. Dick climbed up into a corn crib, dug down deep and came up with several sample ears of corn for moisture tests. We don't know where he took his legal training, but the school must have leaned heavily on the personal service angle. We wonder whether the bar examination included a questionnaire on corn crib climbing. Might prove handy!

The new Ford V-8 for 1934 is being displayed in the showrooms of The Delphi Motor Sales, Ford Dealers, on the northwest corner of Main and Market streets.
According to Fred Wheeler, of the local dealership, the new Ford v-8 has greater power, more speed, quicker acceleration, smoother performance, more miles per gallon, especially at higher speeds, and quicker starting in cold weather, plus refined body lines and a new built-in system of clear vision body ventilation.
We are anxious to have the public inspect the new Ford V-8 because it is the best car the Ford Motor Company ever built, said Mr. Wheeler.

Letters to Santa…
Dear Santa Claus, I will write you a letter to tell you what I want for Christmas. I am not going to tell you all I want for I want several things. I will just name a few things and you can give the things I do not want to the poor little children that have no nice home or ever get Christmas presents. Now Santa Claus if you think it is best to send these things to the little heathen children you can but if you will I will be glad to get a pair of gloves. Now this is all that I want so good-bye, from your friend, Miss Ollie Tribbett.
Dear Santa Claus, I live in Carroll county. I am eight years old and in the third grade. I want a ball glove and a lace doll and a book and some candy and some nuts. I guess this is all for this time. Your Friend, Paul Hoshaw.
