Carroll County Special Olympics bowlers earned gold, silver and bronze awards at the state bowling tournament held Saturday and Sunday in Indianapolis.

Winning gold were Bethany Cadwallader, Darlene Goyer, Cary Walters, Doug McCarty, Jesse Collins, Caryl Sherman, Billy and Fred Ford, and Mike Cadwallader.

Those earning silver and bronze awards and ribbons were John, Amanda, Shawna and Junie Sherman, Rita Bane, Kelly Buell, Joe Landon, Richard Goyer, Shawnda Gidell, Diana Knight, Amber Stover, Steve Wolf, Brock Wood, Selena Wagoner, Stephen and Jesse Cadwallader, Ron Rice, Mike Satterfield, and Leonard Wagoner.

Volunteers accompanying the athletes were Mary Mc- Carty, Cindy Wagoner, Kay Goyer, Jack Stover, and Rebecca Cadwallader.

The Special Olympics basketball season will get underway on Friday. There are four county teams.
