Amber Woods and Grant Richardson announce their engagement.

She is the daughter of Samantha Pattengale of Delphi and the late Rodney Woods. He is the son of Carla and Jeff Richardson of Bringhurst.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Rossville Middle/ High School. She graduated from Christina and Co. Cosmetology School in 2006 and is working at Evan Todd Salon and Day Spa in West Lafayette.

Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School. He graduated from Ivy Tech in HVAC and is employed by Copper Beech Townhomes, West Lafayette, as supervisor of maintenance.

They are planning a September 2009 wedding.
