The PERU CIRCUS CITY SAMS chapter 89 will have its annual Christmas Party at Park Place in Bunker Hill on Dec. 20 at 5:30 p.m. There will be a gift exchange.
A community chorus singing the Christmas portion of Handel's "The Messiah" will present a
HOLIDAY CONCERT on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Twin Lakes High School Auditorium. The performance will include accompaniment provided by two pianos and the Berkebile Conservatory Chamber Orchestra from Peru.
A HOW TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS WORKSHOP will be held Dec. 17 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Swezey Commerce Center, 337 Columbia St., Lafayette. Sponsored by the Hoosier Heartland Small Business Development Center, the workshop is free and open to anyone interested in starting a business or who is already in business and seeks more information. Items from GREATER LAFAYETTE HISTORY will be on display at the West Lafayette Public Library Dec. 13 through Jan. 9. The exhibit "Preserving Memories, Make History" includes sports memorabilia from Orlando Itin owner of Bruno's Pizza, papers from Frank Lloyd Wright's Samara House and art pieces from the West Lafayette library. A BATTLE OF THE BULGE exhibit opens Dec. 13 and runs through Jan. 24 at Fort Harrison State Park in Indianapolis in the Nature History Center. The exhibit is free and open to the public and may be viewed Wednesdays through Sundays with programs beginning at 2 p.m. There is a gate fee to enter the park on Saturday and Sunday.
