Mary "Sis" Brooks, formerly of Delphi, will celebrate her 90th birthday Dec. 9. A surprise open house, hosted by her daughter Jamie Wray, is planned for Dec. 14.

Her father, Clyde Fauset, was employed as a linotype operator at the Delphi Journal newspaper which is now the Comet.
