Marilyn Power Wallace, 76, of Fort Myers, Fla., passed away at South West Regional Hospital in Fort Myers on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, after a short illness.

She was born to Ivan and Nellie Cohee Power on May 28, 1932, in Logansport. She lived most of her life in the Young America/Galveston area and Kokomo before retiring to Florida.

She married Merlyn "Pat" Wallace on Oct. 21, 1950, in Cutler, and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Mike Wallace (wife Marie) of Naples, Fla., and Mark Wallace (wife Andrea) of Rochester; two grandchildren, Michael Wallace and Nicole Pflueger, both of Naples; sisters in-law Roberta Anderson of Kokomo, Carol Clem of Fort Myers, and Barbara Thompson (husband: Jim) of Lafayette; and brother-in-law, Jack Clem (wife: Norma) of Bunker Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a twin sister, Carolyn, who died in infancy.

Marilyn was employed at Delco Electronics in Kokomo for 30 years, making friends in the different departments where she worked.

She was a member of the Upper Deer Creek Church of Christ of Galveston.

A memorial service was held in Fort Myers. Interment will be held at a later date at Galveston Cemetery, Galveston, Indiana.
