Tri Kappa offers scholarships

Delphi Tri Kappa is seeking applicants for academic scholarships worth $1,000. Additional scholarships may be awarded.

Any full-time student currently enrolled in a baccalaureate or graduate program and who has completed at least one academic year may apply. Criteria used for selection are academic achievement, strong goals, extracurricular activities, work experience and volunteer service.

Key Scholarships - Two scholarships will be awarded to students who have no previous degree beyond high school and have had a lapse in education for at least five years. Individuals eligible must be enrolled in an accredited school offering an associate or baccalaureate degree and completed one semester. Criteria for selection are strong goals, work experience and volunteer service since high school.

Fine Arts Scholarship - Students majoring in art, dance, drama, or music and enrolled in an accredited degree program may apply.

The Twanette Nutter Fleming Music Award - Applicants must be enrolled in a fully accredited course of study leading to a degree to teach music in the public schools.

Recipients will be announced in April.
