Need a break from your holiday preparations and shopping? Come to a Hometown Holiday Open House on Dec. 11, 12, and 13. Relax and rejuvenate as you read your favorite magazine or newspaper while you sample coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a very special recipe of spiced tea.

The open house is a holiday gift to the community from the library. The Hometown Holiday Open House will be during normal library operating hours.

Give the gift of reading to your friends and relatives. Persons living in unserved townships do not pay library taxes so they need to purchase their library cards. A wonderful gift idea would be to purchase a library card for family and special friends who otherwise could not afford to use the library. Ask for more information at the main desk or call the library, 967-3912.

The theme for the next storytime will be "Mice." Christmas isn't just for the big animals of the woods! Join us for stories and fingerplays about the wee ones of the forest. Preschool storytime is Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.

Call Dial-a-Story, 967- 3814, anytime day or night to hear great stories.
