Traveling FLU SHOTS will be available Saturday from the Carroll County Health Department at locations in Camden, Flora and Burlington. Shots will be given from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Camden Community Building; from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in the Community Senior Citizen Building in Flora, and from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Town Hall in Burlington. Shots are $15 for adults and free for children 18 and under.

FLORA FIRST BRETHREN CHURCH invites the public to attend its annual Christmas program. "Christmas Stars" will be presented by the church's Praise Team, directed by Susan Brooks, at 7 p.m. Dec. 7. The church is located at 115 North Washington Street, Flora.

Jim Payne of Payne's Pharmacy will be at the FLORA SENIOR CENTER at noon on Dec. 5 to explain Medicare D and answer questions. The public is invited to attend.

Theressa Isaacs of Flora will give a presentation on quilts at the FLORA SENIOR CENTER at noon on Friday, Dec. 12. Anyone is welcome to attend.

The annual OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS at Canal Park, Delphi, will be Dec. 13 and 14. Park buildings will be open, and there will be carriage rides, craft demonstrations, and special exhibits. Santa will visit with children at the Canal Center on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served in the Case House. Hours for the event will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

VISIT WITH SANTA and SMALL SHOPPERS' SPENDING SPREE sponsored by Tri Kappa will be Dec. 6 in the courthouse rotunda before the Christmas parade from 10 a.m. to noon. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade are eligible to shop for an adult.

Hickory Grove Church will provide a FREE BABYSITTING SERVICE for parents who would like to go Christmas shopping without their children on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations for children must be made by Dec. 11, by calling Teresa at 574-965-4573.
