Tri Kappa Associate

Tri Kappa Associate Chapter met Nov. 11 for a luncheon hosted by Helen Schilling and Joan Maxwell at the First Presbyterian Church in Delphi.

New members Tina Tyner, Pat Dillman and Marsha Rossetter were welcomed.

Members were asked to help with a Christmas party at Carroll Manor and provide refreshments.

A monetary gift was approved for the Cheer Guild for Children.

Following adjournment members worked on ribbons for the Christmas cancer tree, which will be lit Dec. 6 in the courthouse rotunda.

Delphi Rotary Club

Delphi Rotary met Nov. 25 at Delphi United Methodist Church. Guest speaker Craig Ruch, who is employed as chief investment officer for Key Corp in Cleveland, Ohio, talked about the securities industry. He discussed the current financial crisis, the origins, response and predictions for the future.

Kurtis Fouts announced the Delphi club has been invited to a joint meeting Dec. 18 hosted by the Flora Rotary Club at the Flora Presbyterian Church.

Guest Junior Rotarians from Delphi Community High School were Brittney Atwood, Brooke Lewis and Aspen Wallace.
