Albino deer shot
2008-11-26 / Sports
Ed McKenzie of Delphi shot an albino, six-point buck Nov. 16 on CR 700N., two miles off Carrollton Road. McKenzie's son spotted the deer earlier in the day and McKenzie shot it around 6 that evening. DNR advised McKenzie not to eat the meat since albino deer are a result of a genetic defect and only occur one out of every 100,000 born. McKenzie plans to have the head mounted. Comet photo
