Spyke A. Rice, 49, of Lafayette, died Nov. 17, 2008, at his son's residence. Among the survivors is a sister, Tessa Perdue (husband: Lou) of Delphi. Services were held in Brookston.

Beatrice Mae Sheets- Hunt, 76, of Rossville died Nov. 17, 2008, at her residence. Among the survivors are a son, Sherman Sheets, and a brother Sambo Marchand, both of Delphi. Services were held Nov. 20 in Rossville.
