      Carroll teacher and yearbook advisor Pat Spence, right, has received a $489 Mc- Donald's MAC Grant to bring digitized media to the yearbook staff. The grant funds will purchase two digital cameras and cases, along with batteries and memory cards.

Scholarship workshop set for Delphi students, parents

      A scholarship workshop will be held from 1:10 to 1:40 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Delphi Community High School Little Theatre. Parents are encouraged to attend. The workshop will provide students and parents with tools to complete scholarship applications.

      DANIEL MARTIN participated in the Indiana Bandmasters Association All-Region Honor band Sunday at Sunnyside Middle School. Twenty-seven schools were represented in the region and Martin, who is a part of the Delphi Community Middle School Band, played trumpet in the honor band.

      Delphi Community Elementary School became part of history Nov. 14 when students' personal signatures were launched on the Space Shuttle Endeavor as part of NASA's Space Shuttle mission STS-126. The shuttle docked Nov. 20 during the tenth anniversary of the Space Station.
