Scott Mary Anna Scott will celebrate her 80th birthday on Nov. 28.

Born in Carroll County to Esther and Ray Shanks, she attended Carrollton High School and Ball State Teacher's College where she received a degree in business education and taught business at Young America. She married Joe Scott in July, 1951.

Mrs. Scott is a member of the Burlington United Methodist Church and the Classy Classics Extension Homemakers Club. She enjoys being with her family, shopping and playing cards.

She has three children, Joanna Allison (husband: Dennis) of Winona Lake, Patricia Bultemeier (husband: Dale) of Fort Wayne and Dean Scott (wife: Tammy) of Burlington, and seven grandchildren.

She is celebrating her birthday with her family but would enjoy receiving cards from friends. Her address is 5310 E. 350 S. Bringhurst.
