Fredrick "Whitey" Jacobs, Sr., 66, died Nov. 12, 2008 at his residence in West Point. Among the survivors are a daughter, Tracy Cabello (husband: Frank) of Rossville, and two stepdaughters, Leisha Hill (husband: Rob) and Melissa Lowery (husband: Jason), both of Delphi.

David L. Warthan, 65, of Lafayette died Nov. 10, 2008, at his residence. Among the survivors is a son, Steven Warthan (wife: Katie) of Delphi. Services were held Nov. 13 in Lafayette.
