Beatrice Mae Sheets-Hunt, 76, of Rossville, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at her residence.

Born Feb. 2, 1932, in Monon, she was the daughter of Charles and Elsie Robey Marchand. She attended Francisville High School. On Aug. 30, 1952, she married Valentine Brennard Sheets, who preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1975.

She had worked for Duncan Electric in Lafayette which later became Landis Gyr. She most recently had been employed in the candy store at Zachary Confections, Frankfort.

She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Surviving are three sons, Sherman Sheets of Delphi, Robin Sheets of Lafayette, and Kenneth Sheets of Rossville; two daughters, Ellen Mullendore of Lafayette and Mary Jane Courter of Cutler; one sister, Violet Chamness of Francisville; one brother, Sambo Marchand of Delphi; nine grandchildren; and 18 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn and Ruth Ann, and six brothers, Russell, Don, Leon, Fred, Bill and Bob.

Visitation will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, Cremation will follow.
