Round-Up grant helps RVAS improve response time

Rossville Volunteer Ambulance Service (RVAS) recently received a $3,335 grant from Carroll County REMC Operation Round-Up.
The grant will fund a radio link from Carroll County Dispatch directly to RVAS base radio. Before this link, Carroll County Dispatch had to call Clinton County Dispatch to tone the Rossville service out. By installing the radio link the call time has been reduced by several minutes.
To raise money for a new ambulance building, RVAS will hold its annual Breakfast in the Village Dec. 6. The breakfast will be served from 6 to 10 a.m. in the Bennett Room, Rossville.
