University of Evansville volleyball player Sally Kulupka, was named the Prairie Farms/Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Week, Commissioner Doug Elgin announced last week UE's senior outside hitter powered the Aces to victories against Bradley (3-0) on Oct. 31 and UNI (3-1) on Nov. 1.

Kulupka, who has a 3.58 cumulative grade-point average in nursing, averaged 4.0 kills per set in the two contests, as UE improved to 7-5 in the league.

Against Bradley, Kulupka hit .273 with 11 kills and two block assists, and against UNI, she posted a match-high 17 kills while hitting .256 in the Aces' first win in 31 alltime matches against the Panthers.

Kulupka, a UE senior, is a graduate of Rossville High School.
