In Stitches Fiber Arts Circle will meet Nov. 24 at 6:30 p.m., not Nov. 17.

Librarian Patsy Scott will hold tutoring sessions with interested individuals who want to improve computer skills. Learn to create a word document, a spread sheet, cruise the web and send E-mails and attachments. Registration is required.

Morning Book will meet Nov. 21 at 9 a.m. to discuss "The Ha Ha" by Dave King. The story is about a Vietnam veteran who has not spoken for 30 years due to a head injury. Copies of the book are available.

There will be no Story Time Nov. 20, 25, or 27. The program will resume in December.

The library will be changing the way patrons are notified about overdue materials and fines. Patrons will receive a courtesy phone call if their materials are two weeks overdue. This will be the only reminder from the library unless materials aren't returned before being six weeks overdue.

Patron accounts with materials six weeks overdue, and/or fines over $10 will have their accounts blocked and could be sent to a collection agency. Email notification of overdue materials will be available soon. These measures will help conserve paper and postage, making better use of taxpayers' money.

You may access your account anytime on the library's website, www.flora.lib.in.us, by clicking "catalog" and logging in. Please call the library, 967-3912, or ask at the main desk for a generic password that can be changed once the account is accessed.

Join the book discussion group next Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m. to discuss, "The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing" by Melissa Bank. The group meets in the Flora Senior Center every third Wednesday. New members are welcome.

The theme for the next storytime will be Celebrate Books! We'll read all new books. Preschool storytime is Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.

"The Golden Touch" is the tale currently on Dial-a-Story. Friday the story will change to "Raggylug." Call Dial-a-Story at 967-3814.
