Veterans of the Burlington community will be honored at a special Veteran's Day program at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Community Park Building. All veterans, their families and the public are invited to attend. A free light meal will be served. Burlington Masonic Lodge is hosting the event in cooperation with the Burlington American Legion.

Kiwanis Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. Saturday for breakfast and meeting at the fire station.

A Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 23.

Prayer Time and Bible Study will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ.

The Church of Christ will have a Thanksgiving meal at 6 p.m. Sunday. Musical entertainment will follow.

United Methodist Women will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the church.

The United Methodist Church will have a carry-in Thanksgiving dinner at 6 p.m. Nov. 20.

Crossroads Community Christian Church will have a Thanksgiving dinner at 5 p.m. Nov. 23. A talent show will follow at 6 p.m.

Faith Christian Women's Fellowship will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the church.
