A CUTLER AREA NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH EDUCATION PROGRAM with Carroll County Sheriff Tony Burns will be held on Nov 13 at 7 p.m. in the Cutler Fire Station. All persons interested in helping to promote a safe community are encouraged to attend the event sponsored by the Promoting the Wildcat Valley Group.

Nov. 18 is the next deadline to register for Indiana's DO NOT CALL LIST. Phone numbers placed on the list by 11:59 p.m. (EDT) Tuesday will begin receiving benefits of the law starting Jan. 1. The attorney general's office reminds people that registration is free and the state will not ask for any personal or financial information. Registration is available 24- hours a day, 7-days a week at www.AttorneyGeneral.IN.gov or by calling 1-888-834-9969.

The CARROLL COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE is cancelling its men's night set for Nov. 13 due to a lack of response.

Flora's CHRISTMAS PARADE will be Nov. 22 at 12:30 p.m. Line-up and registration begin at 11:30 at Jackson-Lee- Pearson's northeast office building at the corner of Willow and Clark streets. The parade is sponsored by Flora Community Club. This year, in connection with the parade, people are asked to bring boxed food, canned fruit, and staples for the Food Pantry. They will be accepted at the registration area, at the Flora Park at the end of the parade, and at other drop points around town on the day of the parade.

Delphi Presbyterian Church will host its SENIOR CITIZENS' MONTHLY LUNCHEON Nov. 19 at noon in the church Fellowship Hall. An elevator is available for those in need. Call Susan at (765) 564-2371 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to request a ride or information.

DCSC BOARD OF SCHOOL TRUSTEES will hold a special meeting Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Delphi Community School Corporation, 501 Armory Rd. Agenda items include the continuation of the Oct. 13 1028 public hearing and regular November board meeting.

Monetary, food, and gift items are being accepted for the CHRISTMAS FOOD BASKETS beginning Nov. 17. A MUSIC BENEFIT CONCERT featuring Malachi Jaggers and other local musicians will be held Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Delphi Community High School Little Theatre with proceeds helping to pay medical expenses for Cindy Gottschalk.
