Carroll County Extension Service will host an open house Nov. 15 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the 4-H building in Flora.

The public is invited to eat breakfast and view the various Extension programs. Donations for breakfast will go toward the Carroll County 4- H and EH Scholarship Funds.

Program highlights will include:

4-H'ers - How to turn life skills developed in 4-H projects into scholarship dollars.

4-H Exhibit Board - 2009 Fair Schedule and new sponsorship program (to support fair and 4-H/ youth programs).

Carroll County Agriculture Association - Recent events and projects.

Extension Homemakers - Service Projects, Angel Projects and activities.

Homemaker's Club - Decorate holiday cookies.

Junior Leaders - Service project: "stamping" holiday cards for military families.

Master Gardeners - "How to Care for your Holiday Plants."

School Programs - Hand washing, to prevent germs from spreading.
