Carroll runners earn awards

Capping off an outstanding season, Carroll's cross country teams got together recently for their end of the season awards banquet. Pictured are (l-r): Tyler Macy and Ashley Bordner, both Puma Award for placing first on the team the most times; Blake Mills, Cougar Award for mental attitude; Hope Hayden, Cougar Award for most improved; Jordan Tooley, Top Cat Award for most memorable performance (HHC); and Kaira Ragan, Top Cat Award (tourney performances). Other notable individual achievements recognized were: Ashley Bordner, both the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (I.C.G.S.A.) Academic All-State and the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches (I.A.T.C.C.C.) Academic All-State, and the I.A.T.C.C.C. 3rd team All-State (performance); Kaitlin Kennedy, Academic All- State; Seth Larimore, Academic All-State Honorable Mention; and Coach Mike Miller, I.A.T.C.C.C.
