Deer Creek Presbyterian Church is having a book club for adults and older teens. Discussion of the book, "The Color of Water by James McBride," will be at 7 p.m. on Nov. 24. The group will meet in the church library.

Deer Creek Community Center is hosting a Longenberger Basket Bingo party on Friday at 6:30 p.m. The party is to support the community center.
