Extension Homemakers' Sewing Day will be Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the 4-H Building. Other community members are invited.

Sewing day projects will include: 350 gift bags for the Toy Store, tied fleece pillows for teenagers for the Toy Store, and tote bags for Riley/Ronald McDonald House to be used with elementary school and teenage youth.

Everyone is invited, even if they don't sew. Volunteers are needed to cut, iron, thread ribbon through the bags and cook. Soup and drinks will be provided for lunch.

Donations needed for the projects include: Christmas material and matching ribbon (½" wide) to make Christmas bags for the Toy Store, fleece material (print that would appeal to teenagers) and new 14"-16" pillow forms, and medium weight fabric for tote bags for Riley/Ronald McDonald House.
