Absey, Kressley pledge

Melissa Absey and Brook Kressley exchanged wedding vows at 3 p.m. May 3 at Our Lady of Fatima in Aliquippa, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Eli and Stephanie Absey of Aliquippa. Parents of the groom are Tom and Jill Kressley of Flora.

Father Howard Campbell officiated at the ceremony. Dorthy Mancini sang and also played the piano and organ.

Maid of honor was Janell Cramer of Aliquippa. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Kressley of Flora, sister-in-law of the groom; Lisa Slawianowski, Charleston, W.Va.; Karen Markley, Philadelphia, Pa.; Michelle Ramos, Alexandria, Va.; Taylor Kressley and Kiersten Kressley of Flora, nieces of the groom.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Rylee Galovich of Chandler, Ariz., cousin of the bride, and Cameron Kressley of Flora, nephew of the groom.

Eric Kressley of Flora, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Greg Smith, Matt Murowski, and Tony Wagler, all of Indianapolis; Andrew Anderson of South Bend; Jason Wallace of Orlando, Fla.; and Richard Absey of Aliquippa, brother of the bride.

A reception was held at Beaver Lakes Country Club in Aliquippa.

The bride is a graduate of Hopewell High School, Aliquippa, and St. Francis University, and has a doctorate from the Indiana University School of Optometry.

The groom is a graduate of Carroll High School and Indiana University and has a doctorate from the Indiana University School of Optometry.

Both are employed as optometrists at Sewickley Eye Group.

After a wedding trip to Aruba, they are residing at 317 Polo Club Drive, Moon Township, Pa.15108.
